Welcome to the Forgiveness, Population Health, and Equity Conference!

Join us for a day of insightful discussions and workshops on the intersection of forgiveness, population health, and equity.

This year’s conference theme is “Forgiveness, Artificial Intelligence, Equity, and Peace”. This conference will be a joint celebration of International Forgiveness Day and the World Day of Peace.

This year’s conference will be a hybrid event with in-person sessions at East Point First Mallalieu United Methodist Church under the spiritual guidance of Rev. Dr. Michael Stinson!

The East Lake First Mallieu Church is located at 2651 N Church St, East Point, GA 30344.

Attendees outside of Georgia and the USA should select the online option at registration and will receive a Zoom link to the event at least two weeks before the conference. This year’s conference will bring together experts from faith-based, artificial intelligence and technology, finances, pharmacology, medicine, forgiveness, public health, and behavioral health.

Come together with experts and community members to explore how forgiveness can impact the health and well-being of populations and promote equity in our society. “Forgiveness isn’t just practiced by saints or martyrs, nor does it benefit only its recipients.” Instead, studies are finding connections between forgiveness, physical, mental, and spiritual health, and evidence that it plays a key role in the health of families, communities, and nations. Though this research is still young, it has already produced some exciting findings- and raised some important questions (Worthington, 2004)
